【摘要】:Theg-maxvaluesobtainedbytheseproceduresareindicativeoftheimpactattenuationcharacteristicsofplayingsurfacesusedforsportssuchasAmericanfootball,soccer,baseball,lacrosse,rugby,etc.Optionaltimehistorydatacanbeusedtofurtherdescribetheseproperties.1.1Thistestmethodisusedtodeterminetheimpact-attenuationcharacteristicsofnaturalturfgrassandsoilplayingsurfacesystemswithalightweightportableapparatus.Thistestmethodcanbeusedtocomparetheimpactattenuationcharacteristicsofnaturalplayingsurfacesystems,aswellasassessingtheeffectsofmanagementpracticesontheimpactattenuationcharacteristics.Thistestmethodalsocanbeusedtoassessthecompactibilityofnaturalplayingsurfacesbyrecordingg-maxvaluesorpenetrationofsuccessiveimpacts,orboth.1.2Thistestmethodprovidesaprocedureforassessingimpactattenuationcharacteristicsinthefield,onbothactualplayingsurfacesandresearchplots.Numericaldatawillnotbecomparabletodataobtainedusingadifferentmissilemassorgeometry,differentdropheight,ordifferentstandardmethod,forexample,TestMethod.1.3ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.4Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
